Errm I would've thought that anybody with over 80 IQ could figure this out without needing to think but ok..
2nd hand stuff is usually fine but cheaper because of a few minor damages and occasionally whatever your buying is a fake/doesn't work.
1st hand stuff, coming from a good company, is usually in perfect condition and works great - though it's at original price.

Lol?
Obviously first hand man... If you've got the money, that is. If you buy it second hand, you're risking that it isn't going to work properly etc... But first hand buying it first hand is an assurance that you're getting a product in a perfect state.

Like everyone else has said, 2nd hand RAM risks (a high risk) damage to the RAM, that's probably why they are selling it. The other reason is that they got the RAM at ridiculously low prices and they're selling it for quite a profit.
So, it's best to buy 1st hand in terms of computer technology. Although the product (RAM in this case) may not appear damaged, it could always be damaged.
