ok guys...i really need a good computer gaming super machine..i have 1200 dollor budget to get a super machine...desktop or laptop plz?
wich one is the best for gaming surfing net and doing alot of things stuffs in the net?=(

Desktop. But it really depends on your situation. If you want to play old games (which I'm assuming you don't want to), any type of graphics card in a laptop will work.
Desktops usually yield higher performance at a much lower price. If you really need to move around, then a laptop will suit you.

If you really have money to burn, go with a laptop. Otherwise, Desktops are better for multi-tasking and gaming.

desktop they r better performance dont need to b recharged and dont shake when u have a cd in them it just makes more noise and isnt as porable

It seriously depends on your situation.
If you're only going to use it in one place (such as your house), then obviously a desktop, because you can get ones with better specifications for a lower price. If, however, you plan on moving around (like when you go on holiday and stuff), then a laptop, although I'll tell you now: if you want a good quality laptop, you're going to have to spend more money than on a desktop.
I personally have both, and although I use my laptop a lot more (basically because I'm at boarding school and I have not yet bothered to move my desktop into my room so I use my laptop), I always go for my desktop if I'm looking forward to a good gaming session.

desktops are eaiser to upgrade. With a laptop, if you want a bigger screen, you have to go buy a new monitor.

Desktop in my opinion I love desktops and unless you travel a LOT you just need a desktop I mean so much better in my opinion....

For the price, a desktop is much, much better than a laptop.

For your $1200 budget, it depends if you want to build your own computer from scratch (costs less, better parts, recommended.), or buy a pre-buil computer. Building your own computer really isn't very hard, you just gotta know where to put everything.
