Just looking to see what the best bet is for my buck. Also, I'm plan on building the computer.
Hoping for it to cost under $1,500.
Thanks to everyone who helps out. I greatly appreciate it.
Remember to include case, power supply, and all hardware like that.
Including monitor too.

| Yes, single, I'm protesting dual+. But if you guys want, you can add with the option of higher cores. Just state upgrade price.

yeah, both AMD and Intel still make them, but they're really crap processors in my oppinion, my 3ghz AMD can't even run 3 VST's at the same time in Fruityloops 7 without lag.

This is completely idiotic and multi-core processors can have an enormous effect on performance depending on what you're doing.

AND IT KILLS THAT THING YOU WANT!!!
110 gigs
dont know ram, but it over 4gig
good videocard
vista
and god forbid, DELL
(gateways kill ALL)
my laptop $799.99 although, my computer actualy had the hard drive catch on fire... that freaked me out stick to any cpmputer made by gateway... thats modern
