How do I cheat?

cheat engine gives error on vista 64 bit when i searching for pointer and select stop or close the window that tries the find the pointer, the application and sometimes cheat enging crashes "everytime"

I think CE wasn't working good with 64bit processors (correct me if i'm mistaken pls)

CE shouldn't work for 64bit or Vista.
So 64bit Vista is like, overkill.

Did you try to run it in compatibility mode for Windows XP/Windows Vista 32 Bit?
