Can you downgrade Vista by running the XP recovery CD and choosing to install XP? Or do you have to format your entire hard-drive and then reinstall XP?

I think you'd need the xp installation disk
But dont ask me I dont know shit about installing operaing systems

No U cant dowgrade from Vista->XP. The function is disabled in Vista.

U have to formate the whole sheet, and lose everything T_T


Or jsut do as me, dualboot Very Happy

just insert the xp recovery cd, restart you computer and install it
first save your files
