The 9600GT won't be worth the money if you're going to buy it. Looking at the benchmarks, the 8800GTS 512mb is still a great choice.

Okay, I don't think you got the point behind my post. I not going to buy a 9600GT, never thought of it. I was pointing out that the hype behind the card lived up and showed in benchmarks, and that the 9800GTX is going to do the same (hopefully)

Talking about benchmarks, I rather take benchmarks from somewhere that has a good reputation and that actually got a hold of the card, not "allegedly claims" that they did. Techpowerup.com link me to VR-Zone, but somehow I can see a watermark on the picture of "www.force.game.tw" Rolling Eyes

Yes, I'm saying that those benchmarks are not credible.

And about your comment about not being worth the money, I wouldn't be so sure, the site that I posted, that actually has the card, shows some good results. Scored higher then the 8800GTS in many tests.

I would remove those charts if I were you.

Don't forget they are using beta drivers for it, so they can still optimize those to squeeze out more performance.
