the computer i use now (my gaming computer)
on some games like maplestory for instance when i change maps the screen just gos black and freezes my computer this happens especially in towns and fm with lots of people in normal maps outside of town its perfectley fine and if i freeze when im in a town if i try to log back in to that town it takes like 10 tries and i have to quickley get out of that town is this because of my graphics card because i know its not my connection and i have tons of ram im not very good with computers so how can i fix this :/ help would be appreciated

yes i have, i always have it at the lowest setting the thing that led me to believe its the graphics card is maple always worked perfectley for me no problems at all my friend had this problem on his old comp a while back before he quit maple but a few weeks before i moved and maple had a patch it just started doing this and i cant figure out how to fix it i just thought maples become to advanced for my graphics card lol :/ because maple works perfectley on my moms newer buisness computer and we have the same connection / ram

It could also be your CPU. I have this problem on my computer at home sometimes, often when the servers are fuller. My CPU usage spikes to 100% and shit. When that trainer was public I could run Maple on full settings, but then I had to lower it again. I had 256 RAM, and I always got fucked over in Maple. Got a 512 stick and rarely happens when I do play.
Nothing much you could do besides get even more RAM to make up for a possibly worse CPU, a new graphics card, or free up some RAM.
When I want to free up RAM I open a good 50+ Firefox tabs as well as Photoshop, then I close them all and shit works quite a bit faster.

How much RAM do you have total? My Maple seems to take up ~300MB Max.

How much RAM do you have total? My Maple seems to take up ~300MB Max. |
ive used about 267 mb out of 512

im guessing its intel(R) 82845G/GL/GP/GE/GV Graphics Controller
im not very good with these type of things on computers
computer technoligy doesnt intrest me all that much im more into mechanical engineering i perfer cars

ah well, that sounds like a chipset, so you have integrated graphics, which you probably shouldn't expect much performance from.

according to my parents the buisness computer is for work only it helps pay for ur clothes and ur food so u get the crappy computer because games dont do shit :/ i use windows XP Build 2600 Service Pack 2
