Don't bother with VB.net, use C# (delphi is a pretty good choice too) if that's the type of language you want.

I don't really think it's that useful since you can just get any of that online in 3 seconds.

yeah but i think i might need it for a little bit this year in computers (a tiny bit) and i thought i'd get a head start. i learnt a little bit of basic C++ so it should be easy, and visual, which i like.

but it is vb.net though, not vb6, yeah?
