Cheat Engine

hello,

cheat engine 5.4
when i scan a big program with unkown (all byte, double or 2 4 or 8 byte), and than increased or decreased i get this error:
scan error: thread 0: Acces violation at address 004A2DB4 in module 'cheat engine.exe'. Read of address 00000000
with the cheat engine 5.3 i don't.
just some feedback

how big of a program ? Does it take up 1.5GB of ram or more ?
If so, try a smaller scanbuffer in settings->extra (e.g 4KB) (coudl eb ce ran out of memory)

also, how many cpu cores does your system have (since it allocates the buffer for each core)

i don't know how much ram it takes.
i've got a intel quad core 2.4 ghz
4 gb ram( 3.25 gb ram useable, 32 bit can't use more Crying or Very sad

)
but with cheat engine 5.3 i don't have problems.

at my taskmanager, it says it uses: 143.496 kB
