Tells me to upgrade to Windows 2000 or later when I have 2003 R2

was that also with ce 5.3?
also, does 2003 have a option to run in compat mode? If so, try win2k, or xp mode.

ce 5.3 extra options worked on 2003 R2.

compatibility mode for 2K and XP changes nothing

is it by any change a 64-bit version of win 2003 ? (although it then shouldn't say 2000+ but something about being 64-bit)

replace cheat engine.exe with the one in this archive and see if it helps

it's 32-bit version and the attached exe works.

also the speedhack didn't work if that matters at all to know. but it works with the attached exe.

(using the attached exe)
also seems to be a bug with Search For Array
Searching this particular string isn't working...
DF E0 25 00 41 00 00

while it works when I use the [Search]->[Find Memory] with (Array of) byte

the array is code located in a dynamically loaded DLL with a base address of something like 11000000

ah ok, seems windows 2003 was picked up as an unknown os. (which i've now set to be the highest possible os instead of lowest possible os).
speedhack didn't work in the old one because it used the same routine to check the OS, so didn't allow it

about array search: when searching, check the checkbox to search for read-only code. That may help. (the ctrl+f scans for readonly as well)
