Cheat Engine Lazarus = Cheat Engine 5.4?

(By the way, Lazarus = Vista [with DBVM])

Anyhow, i forget to tell DB that the dll fuction had an error, i will have to try it to see if he did fix that.......

Cheat engine lazarus is more CE 6.x since it's 64-bit

yes, only when ce goes fully 64-bit lazarus is used, but 5.4 will work fine on vista-32 , and doesn't even 'require' dbvm

for vista-64 that's different, that one will require it

for vista-64 yes if you want to use the kernel debugger. no other way unless by then there's a public way to disable the idt table check. (blame microsoft for taking away your ownership of your computer)

of course, if you don't want to use that option (e.g change reg on bp uses it) and only want some basic kernelmode read/write then pressing F8 during boot and selecting the option to allow unsigned drivers is enough.
And if you don't want to use anything in settings->extra, then it will just work
