If i wanted a very high FPS for games like Maplestory and WoW, would i need a good processor or Graphics card? Or both?

What I'm asking is which one is the main factor in deciding how good your FPS is?

GPU, although some games a pretty CPU demanding, but the main factor is the video card

Got it.
I just want maple to stop lagging, this shit is starting to piss me the fuck off.
I keep dying from lag. Hopefully the 8800GT will do it's job.

If you're upgrading your Graphic Card, get more RAM.

No.

Stop worrying, your new computer is going to shit on practically everything, let alone maple. Neutral

2gb of ram will be very helpful in WoW. The game was borderline unplayable at on 512. When I built my new computer, there was no stuttering at all, everything just streamed in, it was a very welcome change. 1440x900, 4x FSAA, 16x AF and the game ran like 40+ fps everywhere, usually much higher. It's not the frame rate that was the best part though, not locking up for 20 seconds whenever I entered a new area was by far the best part. Molten Core? Ha, I would just stand there for like 2-3 minutes completely and utterly frozen loading the area before it. (I forgot the name, inside the mountain.

You must have good cpu and gpu. If you have an old cpu, and very good gpu, you will get a "bottleneck"

but ram is the cheapest thing to add (low ram->more ram= increase alot)
(high ram->higher ram= not so very noticeable)

what's your specs?
