I want to make a program that will overclcock and set my CPU speed back to normal again (in case of after-effects lol). I was wondering how I would go about doing this? _________________

im no expert but i dont believe that is possible, at least not if your like a computer god.
overclocking has to do with adding more than the recommended power to your processor (I believe)
i think you could attach a unit to power line in your pc and then connect it somehow to the computer again and then somehow program some program into the pc that could control that, but youd have to be a god in computering and making and fixing them and-i think ill stop typing here and just sayits not possible. |

Of course it's possible, there are already programs that can do it.
Unless you're extremely knowledgeable in ASM, not to mention the hardware you're working with, you better wake up from the dream.
Just get Clockgen if you want to do it from Windows and be done with it. If you crash your system, you went to far, your clocks will set back to normal and you'll be fine. Clocks won't hurt your CPU, overdoing it will crash your system sure, but it will be fine. |

Lol, I don't care. The key to doing anything is persistence, and I can be very persistent. So don't tell me I have to be very knowledgeable in asm or know my hardware. I can learn lol. But please post in my "Screwing with hardware"
