how do you see colors when you dream?
you can only see colors because photons(light) enter your eye and the rods and cones pick it up and send to your brain to make out the image.
but when you are asleep, theres no light coming in......
so how can you see colors?

That's a good question, heres how you answer it:
When you dream, you remember the dream, and you think you remember the colors, but really your brain only MAKES you THINK that there were colors, even though like you said there cannot be any.
I once had a dream about fucking 5 girls from my school

you see a visual image... therefore there must be a freaking source for all the freaking colors.

The image is already in your mind, you can create the simulation.

| If you think about something, even while not seeing it in front of your head, do you not still somehow see what you are thinking of. A hotdog for example. Think about it and you actually see it without seeing it. You don't see it in black and white however. Your mind recalls colors when you dream. |

A dream is you brain organising memorys, well thats what people say.
so i guess if you remember the past in colour, your dream will be that way.
and if your colour blind your dream would be how you normally see the world...
but what happend with blind people? do they imagine their memorys?
or do they not dream at all?

Read my post. You visualize the hotdog, however you do not SEE it. Since when you are dreaming you are relying on visualization instead of direct images, you still see color. |

its a cemical reaction to the stress on your brain like say if you watched a movie the colors would be saved in your brain and you might have a dream about it because it stresses your brain...logical information
plus theres saved pictures from your life sounds and you might talk or sing in your sleep depening on what you did the during the day

Isn't it like taking a picture? the camera stores the image along with the light. Our brains are storing the images. Same concept.
God damnit why don't you post questions like these at Yahoo Answers!? Some people devote their lives to that place, and many official scientists even browse around there! (I asked a few scientific questions there myself.)
