Hy i`m new to this....so please don`t make fun about my questions or summtin Rolling Eyes .
My problem is that i cand hack universe at war....I mean i works but after a while it crashes and i get "abnormal exit detected" or summtin like that.
The game has 2 exe`s LaunchUAW.exe (only from this one i can run the game) and UAWEA.exe.In cheat engine when i target wich process to hack if i choose LaunchUAW.exe then when i search for the values it doesn`t find them.....but when i target UAWEA.exe then i work....i change the values and it works fine, at least for about 5 mins when the game crashes with the error i was telling u about.
So my question is: Why doesn`t cheat engine find the values needed when i target "LaunchUAW.exe"
And ohhh yes there is another problem...the hack works with UAWEA.exe but after it crashes and i reenter the game and try the same hack, there aren`t the same adresses.

Your english is better than most on the internet, so don't worry about it.
What is happening is the game is getting confused with the changed variables. The addresses you changed say one thing, while different addresses elsewhere probably say something else.
So the game closes itself.
The reason the addresses are different after you restart is because they are probably all randomly generated, that also contributes to problem #1.

well i found a security catalog file in the folder of the game....i`l try renaming that one and see if it works

If thats what controls the games security (maybe gameguard) then it might work, but most games won't start up unless the security is running first.

The first file you run is a loader, the reason it doesnt have the address's you look for is because it is not part of the game.
What i think it is doing is some checks to see if the games code flow has been altered. If so it will close the application.
But i see where you quoted someone saying to rename the .cat files and it will work.
.cat logs allow for extraction,searching archive or folders,file checking,deletion,compare altered files etc... It cover more then what tell you here.

So to rename the cat files makes sense because then it has nothing to go by when checking the game. Basically is "file not found" when you do that.
Also, if they are not encrypted, i think you can open them and alter the files so it doesn't check things that could cause the problem. Just a guess tho. But tis easy enough to just rename them all.

Hmmmmm it seems that this works....First i searched for every security catalog files because i couldn`t see it in the game folder...and the i renamed it..in this case it was (UAWE.exe .cat file)And i hacked some adresses with cheat engine..infinite ressources and inf population.....So finnaly it works:).
But now i want to know how can i make instant build to work.....i mean witch adresses should i search. For ressources was simple i searched for the current ressources in the game and then i spent a little, and i found the adress with the value...but how do i do that for instant build?

I think I'm a bit confused as well, are you trying to make a table for the game?
A table is a CE compatible file that when opened, automatically selects certain addresses and changes their values.
It's pretty much like saving the changes you made to the game in a file so that you can easily do it again the next time you play, or host it so others can easily hack the game quickly without effort.
If thats what you mean, then ask Labyrnth, he would know a lot more than me on that topic.

I think you just press ctrl+S or the floppy dick at the top left to save it as a .tbl and that includes all the addresses you have in the list at the bottom.

Well saving the file i know.....but for example in other strategic games...witch values should i look for so that i can make the instant build function?

Instant build,

After you que something for build.
1. Unknown scan
2. Increased scan every few seconds.

You may find what you want.
To save a table click the Disc Icon.

Uffffff....it seems that i still get that error (abnormal exit detected) Sad .I didn`t got it in 5 mins, i got it in 40 mins....but is still have the error and it seems the adresses are still changing Crying or Very sad...But it happened after finishing a mission

Look at the cat files, i bet it writes them back,
Also, after the game is loaded. Try freezing the process of the loader.
