For starters, this only works on XP, I don't use Vista so I have no clue how to do it.

Anyway, first you need to go to C:\Windows and make a copy of your explorer.exe in a different place, preferably on your desktop for easy access.

Next, you'll want to open up your copied explorer.exe with a hex editor(google one, nigger!)

Expand the "String Table". Now if you're using the default(blue) Windows theme, you'll want to expand 37, and if you're using the classic theme like I do, you'll want to expand 38, then click the 1033(if you're using a theme program, in most cases Windows considers that the classic theme, though I can't guarantee it will work with all themes at all.) In the pane on your hex editor you should see "start" in quotes, it should be pretty obvious what to do from here. Change start to whatever you want, but make sure you leave the quotes around it.

Compile it, and save your modified exe with a different name than explorer.exe, I named mine justin.exe, and save it in your C:\WINDOWS folder.

Next, open up regedit, expand hkey_local_machine, then software, Microsoft, Windows_NT, CurrentVersion, Winlogon. In the right side of the window, open up Shell, change the ValueData to justin.exe (or whatever the name of your modified exe was.)

Now just log off, and if you did it right when you log back in your start button should say whatever you set it to like the picture below(and if you did it wrong, you probably won't be logging on at all Very Happy

If you don't have basic computing skills and aren't comfortable editing your registry, I wouldn't recommend trying this. I take no responsibility if you fuck anything up.

explorer.exe is the UI of your computer, everything you see if made by explroer.exe.

I'm just saying you shouldn't be racist. And yes I know this is CEF, I've been here longer than you, and most people here does not support racism. Yes, I'm sure you took a whole two minutes to look at a site with the original tut and rewrite that tut in your own words.
