I read some threads that said there were methods to 'un-brick' but don't quote me on this. I never had to go through that process, thank god.

The Pandora battery can unbrick, here's all of the information you'll ever need. http://pspupdates.qj.net/

Also, UMDemulator isn't needed, the ISO's will appear under game if they are located in X:\ISO\. No chance of brick.

PSX ISO... I can't remember how I used to do it, but there are things called 'POPStation' or something that convert an ISO of a PSX game to an EBOOT to run on the PSP (a lot of abbreviations there, I know).
