Good morning/afternoon/evening random spam,
Due to a recent post I have made that may be found to be a bit racial, I have decided to create a topic regarding racism. This topic will turn its focus mainly towards the black community versus the rest of the world (mainly the caucasian community).
As everyone is well aware, the black community has suffered greatly in the past. The ones to blame were non other than the caucasian community of days past. Due to social ignorance and outdated views on equal rights, some people still do not see the african american community as an equal. Nevertheless, many are fighting hard to stop racism.
But I ask of you, why is the black community still working so hard to segregate themselves from the rest of the world? After all, it was this segregation that caused racism in the first place. Do you not think that one race will turn to racism if the other race gets certain advantages? Let us take a look at certain advantages given to african americans:
Advantages
#1 Scholarships - Last time I checked, there are no 'caucasian-scholarships-only'
#2 National holidays - MLK-day is fine, but all other holidays fail!
#3 Repentance - The decendants of the family that enslaved the black family is to give something to that family as some warped type of payback.
How do you think a caucasian boy feels when his african american classmate is given a 'black scholarship' while his scholarship is denied, even though their grades are the same? Do you not think that this will cause jealousy and hate towards the other race? Or what would happen when a poor caucasian family is asked for repentance by a wealthier african american family? Not to mention that paying for the mistakes of your ancestors is just plain ridiculous. We are not to blaim for the mistakes our ancestors once made.
You blame the other races for being a minority, and yet you yourself cause segregation from these other races while they fight for your equal rights. This hypocritical travesty is beyond normal proportions, and I deny you as my equal for as long as you segregate yourselfs from us.

| Another little known fact, the irish(i think it was the irish) were enslaved as well, and if i remember correctly caucasians were enslaved a lot longer then the more recent enslavement of blacks.

Not really enslaved. But they were being used and can most definitly be viewed upon as a minority. Good point.

we were taught the vikings(i think) actually enslaved them jsut as bad as the colonists enslaved blacks O.o
