Okay, the client is yours do whatever you want with it. The Server is your games company's. SO Its like this
Client<Yours<Easily Hackable< Legal, but can get u banned
Server<Not Yours<Hard to Hack<Illegal, just like setting your neighbors dog on fire

Exacly. if it was illegal 90% of the world would be in jail, the other 10% didn't got cought yet by this time but they will some day... ok back to reality...

Now let me explain you a thing or two.
Hacking the server is illegal, sending fucking exp packets to the server is diffrent, you don't hack their server, computers, still the game's source and re-make it, crash their server, making yourself an account with gm abilities and godly stuff, creating cash items, etc...
Level hack, what's wrong with that? record a packet? send a packet? did we actually hacked their server? no... just send the packet constantly...
whats wrong with that? who died? noone, exacly! worst thing ever happend was an ip ban... thats all...
Lets say, maple story - meso hack, nothing is wrong, YET.
Lets say we'll drop 340973076 gazilion mesos, we kinda screwed maple, didn't we? buy everything in fm, screwed maple, right?
scroll hacking - dropping 21 att wg - screwed maple, right? screwed...
NX Cash - who knows, they might think you hacked a paypal account, stoll a credit card, I don't know...
Packet Editing is legal, unless you're really good and did something like scroll hack and meso hack and dropped 340973076 gazilion mesos... thats a shame then. 
Server Side is not the server itself, like ss eax, everybody see's it, so what? we hacked their actual server? no!
Understand?? you're all wrong, exept for the guy that said burnning your neighbors dog's illegal... don't try it.

| I side with symbol i belive that not really editing a server's info is pretty much the same as hacking a client game. its basicly the same thing, just involves more skill? idk just saying symbol has a good point. just depends on what you are "hacking"
