Cheat Engine is designed for Windows. You can probably run it on a Mac with emulation software, but I can't say for sure if you can actually use it to alter memory on a Mac system.

Step 1. Visit www.Cheatengine.org

Step 2. Disable your firewalls for a sec, most AV's think CE to be a virus, becuase of its memory-altering abilities..

Step 3. Press DOwnload on the 5.3 section

Step 4. INSHTALL!
