make sure you use debug registers instead of hardware exceptions
and if that also doesn't work, and you're not using vista 64, try settings->extra and select "use kernelmode debugging when possible" _________________

i got a similar problem im using windows vista basic 32bit ... everytime i open ce and attack to a process my whole comp restarts any solution please help

make sure you run in admin mode and xp sp2 compatibility mod
and make sure it is Cheat Engine and not any UCE clones. they WILL crash you!
And go to settings and meke sure you use debug registers _________________
