14.press zf little box

Basically, cheating starts out with making a decision on what kind of cheater you want to be. You can be a cheater that doesn't directly change or edit the game; in that case you would use a macro to play the game for you in an intelligent way, or you would hex edit. But the best cheaters take the path of editing the game directly. This is basically what a hackpack is - a modified version of the real game with built in cheats.

In this tutorial, like already promised, I won't go into detail on how to make a hackpack (for all you l337 hax0rz out there: this is EXTREMELY simplified). All I can say is that it is a process where the original game is saved, edited, and then saved again. Hackers usually use a tool called "flasm" to do this. So, now that you know what a hackpack is, its time for you to get one.

Once again, there are two options here: Make your own hackpack, or download an existing one. If you don't want to go through the pain of making your own, you can go ahead and download my hackpack here. The hackpack comes ready for use, so no need for any painful setup (well, okay, I admit it: there's a small setup). Just plain cheating fun. There are obviously other sites that offer hackpacks - I really can't say, because I don't know them, but there's always a slight possibility that its a virus, so you better be careful and know what you're doing when you download those.
The second option would be to make your own hackpack. This is a lot more difficult if you have absolutely no idea on how to use MS-DOS or how to work with assembler and flasm. So, I don't reccomend this option, unless you want to make a hackpack with new features or less bugs.

When you've obtained a hackpack, you must first set it up. You must do this for every hackpack you download, unless you want to have a slightly less secure computer - it is for you to decide what risk you want to take. Safety, or convenience?

Anyhow, if you chose safety, you must allow the hackpack access to the internet (duh, how are you gonna play stickarena if not?). Do this by going to the global security manager for flash (http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04.html) and select "ask me". Then, click the drop down meny and select "add location...". Click browse for files and select "game.swf" in the directory you put your hackpack to. Then click "Open". And done! Your hackpack should now work.
The less secure method would be to select "always allow" in the security manager. This would mean that any flash file on your computer would be allowed to access the internet... Bad choice if you download a trojan hidden as flash file. But if you're careful, it would be okay to do so.
This step is only needed if you download the HackPack. You don't need it if you play it on our website.

So now that your hackpack works, you may want some additional cheats. The tool that I use is a hex editor called cheat engine. It's a little more complex, but allows for a lot of additional cheats that would be hard to do in HackPack. You can get it at www.cheatengine.org. I personally use version 5.2, the latest release . More to that in the cheatengine tutorials though.


USEING CHEATENGINE: Cheatengine - well, wtf is it??? Cheat engine is a cheat tool that can be used for editing hexedecimal numbers in your RAM. If you think that is too technical of a description, heres an easier one: Cheatengine edits values a program uses to save data. That data can be anything from health over weapon to color of your name and much more.

I must admit, Cheatengine is a little technical for the beginner who is still unaquainted with the basics of cheating. So in order to get the most out of this, I reccomend you do the general cheating tutorial first. Oh, and if you don't have cheatengine yet, this tutorial and many others are completely useless. So get cheatengine at www.cheatengine.org, best would be version 5.2.

Once you have cheatengine the fun can start! Go to Start--> Program Files --> Cheatengine and click on tutorial. Do the tutorial. If you don't get something, don't worry! Its fine. Just get the basics (the first 3 tabs should be fine). If you're really stuck, get help at http://forums.cheatengine.org under the tutorial section.

Cheatengine consists of aproximately 6 areas. I will show you a picture of them, just to be sure you get it:

1 = Adress List
2 = Value Editor
3 = Memory Scan options
4 = Value Scanner
5 = Settings panel / Cheatengine.org link
6 = Speedhack

One thing you will rarely mess arround with is the memory scan options. I reccomend you not do anything to those, as you will just mess things up. Unless you have a 16 bit program that you need to edit (not Stickarena), there is nothing you should do to it.

The Adress list shows what the results of your scan are. If there are no results, there are more than 50 hits or no hits at all. You should usually scan until you get 25 hits. To put one of the adresses into the value editor, double click the adress.

The Value editor shows you the details of the values you want to change. You can freeze them, change their value and their type. This is also the area where you assign hotkeys (more to that in other tutorials).

Speedhack will be explained in another tutorial. If you want to, you can mess arround with the settings a bit and experiment.

The scanner is probably the most complicated area. So many buttons to click on! Value type should always be set to 4 bytes when you scan in stickarena. Scan type sets what you want to scan for. In some cases, that will disable the textbox.

IMPORTANT: If you closed the process you had selected, cheatengine will give you an error, even when you opened it back up. Simply select the process again to continue. By doing this, some values in the value editor may get lost (it will say ?? for value).


SPEED HACKING: Before you start this tutorial, make sure you understand what Cheatengine is. I have a good tutorial on it. Speedhacking at speeds higher than 2.50 will get you kicked to the compatibility server in Stickarena, so make sure you have a hackpack that allows for 10 shots/second or greater. You can find one at http://www.filefactory.com/?e560e1.

So what is this whole business with speedhacking? Well, speedhacking makes you go really fast in Stickarena. You can shoot rapid fire and move at speeds faster than anyone else. You may have tried tools like SpeedGear, which only had a 5 day trial version and after that you had to pay. Speedgear sucks, because you cannot do anything else but speedhack with it and you have to pay. Cheatengine is free and you can do the same thing even better!

To speedhack, open a hackpack with 10 shots/second or greater. You may also use stickarena directly from www.stickarena.com, but you can't go as fast as you would with a hackpack. Select your browser as process. If there are more than one processes of your browser open, close all browsers but the one with stickarena in it. Now press the checkmark that says "enable speedhack". Two textboxes and a button will pop up, one textbox is labeled "speed" and another one that says "sleeptime". Now increase the speed to 2.5 . Sleeptime can be increased, but its not neccessary unless you go for speeds above 5. Press "Set Speed". Immediately, you will realize that you can shoot faster and that you have the ability to move at an astonishing speed! If you have a HackPack, you can increase the speed even further. Don't go past 80 though; it may freeze up your computer.

If a messagebox that warns you about a script pops up, click "no" and set the speed back to one immediately! If you don't do that, your computer may start running slow and stickarena may stop working. If that happens, close Cheatengine and reload the hackpack/stickarena.

Now, isn't it a bit annoying that you have to select Cheatengine all the time to set speeds? If you could just add a hotkey... Well, thats what you're about to do. Click the settings button in cheatengine (its below the logo). In the window that pops up, select "configure hotkey". It's a small slim button that you may easily overlook, so search carefully. In the list that comes up, select "speedhack speed+" and as speed delta, put in 1 or 0.5. Click the hotkey box and press your hotkey. Use a hotey that is unique! You don't want other programs to pop up while you cheat! Now do the same for "speedhack speed -". You may also want to create a hotkey that sets the speed back to one and hotkeys that set the speeds high immediately. Do so by selecting "Speedhack speed 1" and set it for speed 1, sleeptime 3. This is purely optional and not neccessary for this "Speedhack experiment".

Click "OK" and then "OK" again in the settings. Bingo! Your done. Every time you start up Cheatengine and Stickarena/Hackpack, you can now simply press the hotkeys to get to a high speed.


WEAPON HACKING: Make sure you get how to use the scan feature of Cheatengine before you even attempt this. I have a tutorial on it that should get you through it for the most part.To start, open cheatengine and go to www.stickarena.com or open your favorite hackpack. If you don't have one, look under general cheating for a link to a good hackpack. Now select the process of your browser in CE. If there's more than one process listed, close all browsers except for the one with stickarena in it. Open the dropdown list for scan type and select "exact value".

If you have a weapon, scan according to these values:

0 = Fists
8 = Knife (taken out, doesn't exist anymore)
16 = Bat
24 = Katana/Sword
32 = Glock
40 = AK-47

Now, once you have 15 or less values, double click the first value that appears in the adress list. It should now appear in the value editor. Here, you can now double click the number and set it to one of the values in the list above. You should now have a certain weapon depending on the value you entered.in the editor.

You think its annoying to go to CE every time you need a different weapon? You betcha it is. So, lets add a hotkey to the value! Right click the value in the editor. Then, click on "set a hotkey". A window should pop up. In the dropdown list, select "increment by", and in the textbox, enter 8 as value. Select the textbox that lets you set the hotkey and press your hotkey. IMPORTANTL: Use a unique hotkey! Else you'll cause major havoc. Now, click on OK.

When you press the hotkey, you should immediately get a better weapon. You can do that until you get the sledge. More than that and you will get an error.



Freezing the Game Timer: If you read this, I assume you have basic knowledge of Cheatengine or some hex editor. If not, well, there's a good tutorial on this site (this is getting a standard sentence...*rolls eyes*), and if you don't like it, search one on G00gle.

Mmmh.. If you worked with Cheatengine long enough, you should know how to do this. Logically, since the timer decreases in value, the value allways decreases. So when you join a game, scan for an unknown 4 byte value (default setting in CE). Anyways, just continue to scan decreased value. Don't scan more than once per second or you might loose the value! Still haven't figured out the interval (and I don't really care ). Anyhow, you should come up with a few values. Double click the one that seems longest, and freeze the thing in the value editor. Now, ingame, press shift and see wether the timer goes on. If it doesn't decrease, congrats buddy, you picked the right one. If it still decreases... Well, try another value until it works. If it still doesn't seem to work, just do the thing again.

Hint: If the game ends while you're in the process of scanning for the value, you have to start over again.

Freezing the timer can be useful if you're scanning for a value that takes longer than 5 minutes to get. I did this to find most of my cheats, some of which I was real frustrated in the beginning. When I froze the timer I got them a lot faster.

Anyhow, if you're our for scores, don't do this as the stickarena server will reset your kills when the game ends, even when you froze the game timer. Happy cheating .



Getting Rank 10: I expect you to know how to use cheatengine. If not, I have a tutorial on it that should get you through it for the basics.To start, open cheatengine and your favorite hackpack or stickarena. You must log in in order to do this cheat! Now select the process of your browser in CE. If there's more than one process listed, close all browsers except for the one with stickarena in it. Open the dropdown list for scan type and select "exact value".

In Stickarena, click on your name in the lobby. See what score you have, and multiply it by 8. If you have troubles doing the math in your head because you racked up too many kills (*lol*), open the windows calculator and do it there. Now in CE, scan for that exact value until you come up with about 5 values. If you can't get any lower than 10 values, kill someone then multiply again and scan a new scan.

Select all the adresses that are NOT green, and change them to 319992. Play in a game and after one kill, you should have rank 10.

HOW TO USE HACK PACK: u got to download a hack pack after the download a zipped floder will be on your desktop click on it and it will open, now u have to make a now folder not ZIPPED folder okay! now name the folder stick, go back to the ZIPPED folder and copy everything and paste it in the folder u named stick now open the folder stick there will be a thing witch says game click on it then open with internet or firefox then a pop-up will come click on it and allow activex controls then the hack pack will work.
