| sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I was wondering if Cheat Engine was detectable by the game system or by game mods/admins? If it helps i'm talking about Last Chaos specifically. If I use Cheat Engine would the admins be able to detect my usage or would they have to rely on someone spotting me using hacks and then reporting me? Thanks for any information.

Also to answer your question in a more direct way, yes and no.
Firstly, if the game uses a type of cheat protection such as GameGuard or something on that lines, then yes, Cheat Engine is detectable. Some games like WoW use a system called Warden that scans your processes for known applications which would also detect it.
If the game does not have anything like that, a GM wont be able to just assume you are using it, or even scan your system without your permission. For example if you read the ToS for WoW you have to agree to them having Warden run on your system and perform the actions it does. Without that, they cannot touch your system or send personal info such as running processes back to their server(s).
