The easiest way is to translate a blocked site using Google Translator but some school blocks it.

Try get firefox and a free proxy server from http://www.proxy4free.com/page1.html .

You can't download anything. I'm also pretty sure they've blocked any site with the word "proxy" in it. Also, some sites, it will just kill the internet and make you unable to view the site. It's really gay.

Downloading a new browser won't do anything.
School filters restrict ports, not browsers...

And if possible use https:// instead of http:// .
It will usually let you get past it.

Try these websites:
http://www.vtunnel.com/ [if this is blocked use http://ww2.vtunnel.com]
http://anonymouse.org/
http://www.hidemyass.com/
http://www.78y.net/
http://www.projectbypass.com/
http://www.filterhide.com/

[TuT-In-Post] lol.. Anyways, let's start ...

So, you have a school network. Its cool 'cause you have a nice and speedy line but when it comes to hotmail or messenger, myspace or even some porn (if you are sick enough to do that at school) - can you get on? Nope. Heres how.

Right, first off, you have two main setups when it comes to bypassing a content filter. The first is a software filter - these are harder to bypass - however schools dont use them much so I wont go into much detail. The proxy server technique is a much more common one.

Though, I saw some people before me here, already referred to this method, but I will try to explain it a little Smile

Ok, if you can get into internet explorers setup then just skip this next bit...
[This is the part you can skip]
Internet Explorer is most probably what you use, its also most probably secured down - not allowing you to get into internet options. Chuck IE away - we wont be needing it. Go to www.mozilla.org and download and install the browser or some other browser that is non-IE and doesnt require admin priviledges. Now here is the interesting bit.
[This was the part you could skip]

Open your default (restricted) browser and go to google and search for a proxy list. You should find a list of IP addresses and port numbers. Pick one that is reletavly near to your geographical location. It'll be faster. Now open up mozilla or your new browser. Goto internet options or similar and click connection settings - set the proxy server to that address and port. Now click apply and hey presto! Your on an unrestricted internet. If you get some weird error like it says you cannot access this page or cant find proxy server just try a new proxy address.

Its a nice little trick to use especially to piss off other students. They'll pay you to tell them how. Also, if the administrators find out - they'll find it hard to solve the problem. They'll need a very advanced piece of equipment to stop you using a proxy. They'll probably just ban your account Rolling Eyes

I hope you could use this

Did your school block the pages or what happened?

This has already been said.
You're also wrong...
The majourity of schools use software based filters, even schools in Africa.
So if yours doesn't then it must be in the middle of the desert.
Also, if you read the post you will see that he cannot download another browser.
It's also not difficult for Administrators to fix.
Even if their software doesn't block proxy websites, they can simply filter all pages that contain the word proxy.
There are also web-filters that can filter any pages containing numbers in an IP sequence.
Getting software to allow you to do that can also be obtained legally for free.
Which is why, most schools have it, even if their budget doesn't allow for it.
Confused

I've had this problem, I just google 'proxy sites' up to 50 and normally (fucking retarded) Bess doesn't censor every single site after 50 pages. I forget the name but theres one that I saw bypassed bess (not sure about others though). I'll try and find it today.
