depends on what you want to do.
Finding the pointer: Just confirm that the offset on both is the same. and just use one of them to find the info you need. If not, then there are 2 or more paths, so try both, perhaps one is easier than the other.

If it is because you want to revove the code because it decreases your health just remove both

and float values are values coded in such a way to have a fraction

Ahh ok... so if there are 2 things that write to that place, u just need to confirm... ok and if they dont... i didnt catch what u do if they dont confirm... and im sure this has been answered, but when should you use a pointer, to point to another pointer?

If they don't you have 2 or more ways to find the pointer.
So you try both ways, and see which one is easier to do.

You should use an advanced pointer when the pointer changes.
The pointer you look for is the pointer that points to the pointer.
So if you found the pointer 1234 for an address, and next time you log into your program pointer 1234 has changed to 4321.
Then you look for a pointer to the pointer.

Oh, and just so you know some people call them pointer to pointer, advanced pointer, or multi-level pointer.
So if someone is talking about one of those, you know what they are talking about.
Haha.

Okay.
Let us say this is the address : Hello
But when I go back into the program Hello is now Goodbye.
So I will have to look for my new address [Goodbye].
To stop this from happening each time I open my program, I find a pointer.
The pointer will keep showing me to that address no matter what it is.
But sometimes your pointer is not static.
Which means it, like your address, changes.
So you need to find what points to this pointer [so that you don't have to keep looking for the pointer].
So you do not always need to find a pointer for your pointer.
Just if the pointer changes.
