Cheat Engine

im using CE 5.3 and wondering if there is a way to edit the hotkeys i can use in the trainer creator. currently it requres either alt/shift/ctrl with another key. I would like it so i only had to press 1 key on the numberpad

I assume learning assembly won't be easy and will be time consuming. There is no other version of cheat engine that will allow me to create a trainer with what ever hotkey i would like? If there isn't i would rather deal with it then have to learn assembly

Well Inorder to use hotkeys, You have to know how to configure it in ASM
Like in Visual Basic 6.0 vbkey42 Is one of those one keys on the keyboard xP
In ASM it is something different...

Ah I see what you mean. There is no way to change it without recompiling. Which I did, its attached. Makes trainers exactly the same way as the original CE, but hotkeys can be set to only 1 key.

Hmm..Its bigger than 1mb.

You will have to code the trainer yourself to use 1 key, and most use scan codes of the keyboard.

EG:

scan code 1 = ESC
