http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=576
I'll explain you what i do, then you tell me what i do WRONG
1.- Start the game + CE
2.- Attach the CE to the Process.
3.- When i start the level i scan for 0 (wich takes a long time, maybe because its a big game with lotsa levels)
4.- 29,946,745 Addresses, then i go get points (10) so i scan for 10.
5.- 665 addresses, so i get some more score (10) and i scan for 20.
6.- 1 address (16060668)(value 20)
7.- I add to the list and change its value to 810, (also freeze) wich is the max for that game and i don't want to get banned yet
EDIT: I already got frozen (banned, so no point in helping me anymore )
8.- Go back to the game and get some more score.
9.- Voila! i have the max 810.
However, if i try to make a trainer, the values change, so i go and try to find the pointer.
10.- Right click and select "Find out what writes to this address"
11.- Then the window in blank appears, and i try to find what "triggers"
12.- I go back to the game and get score, wich triggers it.
12f365b4 - 89 50 04 - mov [eax+04],edx
13.- Double click it for more information, and i see the following
The value of the pointer needed to find this address is probably
16060664.
14.- I close that window + the "triggered" one.
15.- I go to the CE and tick Hex, and scan 16060664.
16.- Guess what i got? NOTHING.
That's all folks! - End of the experiment
It's a Shockwave 3d game, maybe that's why it doesn't work, but if it didn't work, how can i edit my score?
Thanks for following me all thru, can you tell me what did i do wrong?

Tell me if I'm wrong now, but at step 12 and 13... You did something wrong I believe.
Step 13 is ok, untill you say you see "The value of the pointer needed to find this address is probably 16060664."
That of course is ok, but you shouldn't use that as pointer, I believe you need the value in that window for eax only as it said this: [eax+04] which probably means the offset is 04, and the value in hex you need to search for was the eax value in the window that pops up after double clicking.
Still following me? Ok, good.
If this is wrong, then tell me, because from what I have learned from making pointers (not much because I never succeeded coz it's allways different than from the tuts...) I think it's that way.
Hope this helps you, if you still find nothing or the eax address IS the one that says: 16060664 from the "The value of the pointer needed to find this address is probably 16060664."
Then my "theory" is all wrong.
Bye.
