Haven't played around with CE since I got my new laptop, just wondering if it is compatible with Windows Vista.
Please, I don't care if you don't like Vista or whatever, keep your opinion to yourself.
I'd just like to know if its compatible, or if it receives any errors.

If your asking about 5.3 then yes. My laptop upstairs is vista. Works fine with 5.3. Works shitty with 5.2

| Some games don't let you target them with CE..However if you Run CE with Administrator privileges that isn't a problem.

For 5.3
Cheat Engine search and edit abilities work fine on Vista.
Cheat Engine's debugger features are limited on Vista, can't use Hardware breakpoints, only memory exception. And if you go to settings it tells you "I recommend upgrading to Windows 2000 or later mister Flintstone."

For me administrator privileges make CE 5.3 run perfectly.

| It tells you that on the last tab of the settings window. But only if you don't run it in compatibility mode for XP SP2. I forgot to set mine :-X If you do have compat set, and run as admin, you'll have no problems at all.

i had some problems with cheat engine tutorial (step 5) with widows vista, now i have resinstalled XP and all works fine.
probably is only a tutorial problem...
