Cheat Engine

ok so im having a problem with my cheat engine. whenever i try to check the box to start a cheat, the whole line highlights but the box doesn't check so the cheat doesn't activate. I'm thinking this might have to do with me using Windows ME because i just came back from cousins house and it worked fine doing the exact same thing on his Windows XP computer. Anyone have any suggestions on whats wrong and how to fix it? Help is much appreciated.

That freezes the value as you did put.
To Hack you have to change the value (not the address) to what you want.Freeze it (checkbox that you're pointing) if you want to keep the value that way regardless of what happen in the game/application.

I think the adress you're puting in the list has value NAN and you can't freeze/change that.

well as i stated before i just did it at my cousins house. i checked the box and the hack started on the game. but once i do it at my house it doesnt work
