How do I cheat?

Hey The problem with my cheat engine 5.3 is that when i downloaded it it worked fine but i can only use it once if i close it then open it back up agian the first scan works and then when I do the second scan the adress is there but the value is'nt theres just two quiestion makrs like this for example

Address Value
0B06C120 ??

This makes it so i can't change or see the value if you know the answer to my problem please please help me tnks

If you see ??, The application you was scanning is not running any longer.
Or you never attached CE to a running Process.
