Not sure if this goes here, But I was wondering...On the pointer tut, What exactly happened when I froze the pointer value at 5000???

Huh? Isn't that what your suppossed to do, and it lets you continue? Or am I thinking of something else/or Dont know what you mean? lol.

It is, Its what enables the Next button.But I'm wondering what the point of changing it to 5000 was...It really didn't seem to do anything from what I saw

Eh...I thought going back to the pointer step would help me realize but It didn't...I thought maybe after I froze it the pointer would basically be...Like...Not pointerish...In other words I thought that after I froze the pointer it would make the value of what it pointed whatever I froze it at, But I don't know...

WHAT DOES IT DO
HOW CAN I STOP THE POINTER FROM CHANGING A ADDRESS!

you don't freeze the pointer you're freezing the address the pointer path points to
so when you click change pointer it changes the address and the path taken to that address, and ce follows the new path and writes to the address the pointer points at

Dark byte I have another question, You said that when I froze the pointer it was freezing the address the pointer pointed to right?
Well If thats so then after freezing the pointer when I click change value shouldn't it of showed up as 5000?

no, it writes the value and shows on the screen the value it wrote. It doesn't read it so it doesn't read that you changed it to 5000
only the next button reads it
