Use compatibility mode to run CE in Vista.

"compatibility mode" is a useless feature of the OS that modifies GetVersion (the only reliable documented method of checking the OS) to lie to the program, telling it that they're running the OS you choose. So yes, it is buggy and dreadful and could do worse for the stability of the application because the application knows what the application does best!
