Of course, when you use it to hack into someone;s account by using a exploit in the user/password mechanics, then yes

Messing up the server would be illegal, but changing hp/client sided stuff wont be.

Nothing is illegal unless it involves money, or someone elses account. Cool

Everything else is legal unless you crash their server which i doubt will happen.
