You need to install the driver for his wireless adapter.

Probably in a PCI slot, if not built in the motherboard.

Maybe a USB 2.0 one.

Check for documentation on it, open the case and look for a model number, run programs like Everest Home Edition and let it scan your hardware.

In device manager, I have a tab called 'Network adapters'

It shows what PCI wireless adapter I'm using.

i found out the PCI used by scanning my computer with Everest. i found out that my brother has "realtek rtl8139 family pci fast ethernet nic" so i downloaded the driver, burnt it to a cd then installed it into his computer. finished installing and still doesn't work.


Deleted new one, bump for this one.
