Cheat Engine

Ok so i found the address 10BD8D7C but when i use cheat engine to try and change the value the game doesn't react and if i do a new search for the value i find a new address.

It appears i am trying to change a variable in the stack and altering its value is not working.
Let's say A is a variable in the stack, the game detects A was changed, discards that istance of A, makes a new istance of A.
This would explain why i keep finding a new address.
If this is the case I don't need to find A, i need to find the handle to A.

So i right clicked on the address and did a pointer scan.

Now that i got a long list of pointers, how do i find the right one ?

So wait, the address changes when you try to modify it?

Or is the address changing when you change levels or restart the game?
