Cannot start DBVM. Cheat Engine says that my computer supports DBVM. But when I click on "Your system supports DBVM" and then click Yes, my computer freezes and show a BSOD saying: "A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval" Sometimes, it only freezes without BSOD and I have to do a hard shutdown.
My computer specifications are as follows:
OS: Windows 8 Pro (x64)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30GHz (with 2 cores and 4 logical processors)
RAM: 8 GB
Graphics cards: Intel(R) HD graphics and NVIDIA GeForce GT 520
Network adapter: Ralink 802.11n Wireless LAN card

I tried with unsigned drivers allowed and the same BSOD occurs.
What is the problem?

Could be because it hasn't been tested with windows 8 it won't work (perhaps the virtual machine windows 8 has is interfering). Try windows 7 instead. It has been tested on there and confirmed to work

I tried the 32 bit version of Cheat Engine and DBVM works and also the kernelmode debugger. The BSOD appears when I use the 64 bit version and try to run DBVM or the kernelmode debugger. So the problem is not Windows 8. What could be the problem?

hmm, weird. Perhaps you have an anti virus that interferes with the os offloading when done from the 64-bit version (64-bit exception handling is something they don't all handle properly)

Try launching dbvm from the 32-bit ce version. Then run the 64-bit ce version and debug from there. (no need to relaunch dbvm)
If it still crashes not sure

I launched the 32 bit Cheat Engine version and ran DBVM without problems. Next, I ran 64 bit Cheat Engine version and did not crash using DBVM and kernelmode debugger. (DBVM launched from 32 bit Cheat Engine)
