People died in a terrorist attack, terrible shit happens around the globe all day, every day. People might forget because it may not have affected them. I get commemorating wars, where people willingly gave their lives so that we have freedom, but this is a terrible accident where a lot of people died. I don't see anybody commemorating my nephew and his friend who died when they got hit by a drunk driver.
What I hate most is how my country is completely absorbed by this. People in the media saying 'and tomorrow I'll be commemorating 9/11'. Why, why only that horrible event? What about the other hundreds of bombings, murders, and torture happening across the globe. Are you so far up Americas ass that you're not seeing all of the other terrible shit that is happening? I fucking hate this hypocritical bullshit so fucking much I can't even express it correctly without sounding like a dick.
And before I get a speech saying how we're also commemorating the people who willingly went into the debris looking for survivors and also dying, yes, I applaud them. But if that is worth commemorating, then we should really have a 'Police day', 'Firemen Day', 'SWAT Day', and so on.

Please look up the definition of what an accident is, and come again.

Because we're supposed to be mad at the terrorists so we join the army and fight them. If we forget about it then we'd forget why we're fighting.
Even though that's not why we're fighting. _________________
