I have these files, well there just names, 0 kb's, When I try to delete them it says there not there.I need to get rid of them. How can I remove them?

Give info on them? File name, where they are.. when they were created.

I too had this problem a while ago with Windows 7. All I could find was that Explorer doesn't refresh when the OS & applications are using a large amount of RAM, and that a reboot/safe mode didn't do shit. I have since reformatted the partition to a reiser fs, which doesn't really help you I guess.

how is it being used if it doesn't exist. anyway, I personally don't see how this is a big issue since the files don't take up any disk space and aren't causing you any harm, unless you have some kind of OCD that prevents you from functioning normally because you can't delete something. Just change the file type to hidden so you can't see it, problem solved

if rebooting doesnt work, get unlocker and use that. I believe its vista/xp compatible so it should work on 7 too.

This happens to me sometimes too, usually i just leave it there and when i boot up my computer the next day i can delete it.
