Thank you! You are awesome.  I got a request, well all of your games and account are saved in the xlive folder. Well they also save all your games from the xbox 360 on that gamertag and what achievements you have from those games. You can hex edit the achievements for each game (which i have done) but it doesn't update the overall gamerscore and say so many out of so many achievements unlocked. I pretty sure the file that holds all your gamerscore totals and account information is FFFE07D1.gpd and if you can modify it to say how much you have for that achievement torwards you total. I'm not totally sure the severs for xbox will update new score from xbox360 games over GFWL but if you could look into it for me that would be great.

I downloaded every 24 GFWL game and you xliveachiever works with every game!
my gamescore is now 24700 out of 24700 without xbox360 games

just to update, it works for all games so far including gow and section8; but the key is uninstalling the latest gfwl live update to 3.1, back to 3.0.. 3.1 blocks it. 3.0 lets it go through.. do not move the files.. use the ce program and it works fine.

ya im trying to do with Grand Theft Auto IV but it crashes the game.....they have the newest patch today
I did with the CE but the moment i inject the xlboxachiever.asi, it says Grand Theft Auto IV is not responding and CE crashes
any idea how to get Grand Theft Auto IV to work?
also can u tell me how to hex it the achievement?
btw i can't degrade the GFWL thing

you can downgrade the GFWL to 3.0 and it will work.. just go to add/remove programs on you computer.. you can't do it in the game.. look for the program called microsft games for windows Live..it will say ther version. you are probably on 3.1.???? they updated it on 11/19... once uninstalled.. google for GFWL verision 3.0.. download it and kept that file someplace.. install 3.0..start the game.. it will stop you as soon as you log on and ask if you want to update DO NOT DO ANYTHING..alt tab out and start the cheat engine.. load the ce and inject and you will unlock.. go back to thegame and you can choose yes to update, or choose no..once you start the game agaian you will ahve to choose yes to load the new achievement onlone.. . it should load the achievements to live.. also always make a copy of your xlive folder.. that is what syncs the pc to xbox live when you are signed in.
location - username/appdata/local/microsoft/xlive
i would keep a copy of it off the computer some place and update it regulary. if you patch the gta game itself it may not work.. it crashed for me after I patched the game and tried to do it.. i had to uninstall the game and install again .. DO NOT UPDATE THE GAME.. then make sure live is on version 3.0 and run the ce.. that is what worked for me..

o thanks it worked, why is there The Lost And the Damned Achievements?
is it out for pc????
BTW after this achievement is placed, is it placed in the GFWL system? so next time I install GTA IV on someone elses pc and login to my account WITHOUT the CE and Xliveachiever.asi and the achievement is still there?

correct.. once the achievements are unlocked they are saved to your xbox live profile online and the xlive folder locally on pc.. so even if you install the game on another pc..your profile online will have the achievements unlocked.. i would still make a back up of that xlive folder in case your machine ever crashes. not sure of that game lost and dammed

Indeed it doesn't work for Dirt 2, but there is another way.
Search on gamecopyworld. 
BTW, I'm having problems with Batman Arkham Asylum. The unlocking doesn't work. I tried by normally putting the two files in the binary folder and with CE, but without success...

it works for batman and dirt2.. you have to downgrage to gfwl 3.0..it does not work for 3.1 , or 3.2..just go to add/remove programs and uninstall.. install 3.0..when game starts it will ask to update... do not touch anything..leave it on the screen with the yes/no choice.. run the ce like normal then it will unlock.. go back to another game, or the same one and then update to live latest version..it will then load the new gamerscore.
