This is a small project in Delphi which gives you an easy way to toggle the Task Manager on and off.
I haven't added any error handling; you may get an error the first time you open it.

Download it here.

I don't know why it wouldn't work... trying running it in admin mode.

Works on XP

I pressed "Disable Task Manager" and then
after i pressed Alt+Ctrl+Del it says
"Task manager has been disabled by your administrator

10/10 for a little project

This is using the 'DisableTaskMgr' registry key, right? Surprised

http://www.experts-exchange.com/OS/Microsoft_Operating_Systems/Windows/Windows_Vista/Q_22502599.html

After reading that, I don't think that Vista uses DisableTaskMgr. Confused

Madman, you're school disables it, and an app won't just magically re-enable it. The visible shortcut has gone, but there will be more to it than that.
It won't work Wink

Well it gives that same error message when trying to open things...

I'll just try editting the registry directly first then, w/e... Laughing
