Cheat Engine

Hey guys im so new to this scene, yet i wanna give it a try.
And i stumble upon a stupid error.

As soon as I start cheat engine and open up the game, both programs will crash and stop running.
It just automaticly dissapears from the screen.

In game a popup will appear saying "cheating will get you banned" (graal popup)

So in this case, what can I do, to edit the game without the chance of having the program shut down all by itself.
