Cheat Engine

Hello, I'm new to the forums and I've had a burning curiosity with wanting to know how to make guns shoot different rounds from a different weapon. Such as Halo hacks for example; I've seen them all over Youtube, a guy shoots a shotgun and tank shells come out in the same spread as the normal shells spread. But how would I go about doing this? I am fairly educated with cheat engine; but I just don't have it in me to search Google one more time to try and find out the secret. I appreciate the help, thanks in advance.

Are you sure its a hack in the sense that you are thinking? I used to mod for games, and do things like that...I had a bazooka that shot anything you could think of...toilets...balls of light...dobermans....but it wasnt a memory hack..it was more like changing the textures listed in the guns file from the bazooka shell to whatever I wanted it. Of course this was a long time ago, and I'm sure games do it all different kinds of ways. Of course I didnt answer your question, but because I do not truly know the answer. Its one thing to find a hack for current weapon, but as to what the gun shoots...not sure how that would be done. I do know that in all games people tend to find a way to change things like this by editing files (modding) and pass it off as hacking. Not saying this is the case..as I dont play Halo. If it truly is a hack, then that would seem to be a piece of work.
