This is for those of you more experienced with the debugger, nProtect and it's inner workings.
So, first nprotect does not allow debuggers, naturally the first thing that comes to mind is...IsDebuggerPresent(). And you'd be right.
You may ask, "Why not just run the kernel mode dbg?"
What I am doing requires attaching of the debugger to the process, thus requiring a way to remove detection of the debugger.
I did manage to attach the debugger and get a place to set my break, but it soon after got detached from the process (no crash of CE or target program however.)
Any ideas on what I could do?
I'd prefer not to have to compile my own CE, as that's far more work that I'm willing to do at the moment.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
