Is it possible to send keyboard input into a game from only a console application? I've tried SendInput() and PostMessage() for the past hours and couldn't make what I had in mind. Would I have to Inject a dll in stead of a win32 console app?

Depends on how the game handles key input. If they do not process window messages for the input then it most likely wont work using SendInput / PostMessage.
Also, if they have any internal key hooks, they can determine if the key press that was sent is fake or not, which could be used to block your sent presses. _________________
