im just wonder along with what he asked, y wouldnt the offset just be 4??

depends what value edx is holding, the asterisk (*) stands for multiply is assembly,

so if edx contains 1 it will mean the offset is 1x4=4,,,,, therefore offset is 4

if edx contains the value 2 it will mean the offset is 2x4=8,,, therefor the offset is 8,

so look at what edx is holding in the extra info window multiply it by 4 and that should be your offset

the extra info window being the window that the more iformation button openes up,(just in case you did not know)

Simply because in a hex editor "address" is called the "offset"
So we actually dont know what he wants in general.

I'm assuming that he knows as much about hex as I do, and that means he's probably looking for what edx is. lol
