If you read Ouch!'s statement correctly, he did not say that the programs he listed were MADE in c++, but that they could be made in c++. Which is true.
The language is simply there so you can translate your ideas into a program that can run on a computer. It's pretty hard to write a program in all asm... but I guess it's possible.
I am getting the feeling that Appalsap doesn't like c++ O_o
If so, appal, what language do you prefer? (aside from asm & C, or are those the only ones you code in)

I think C++ it's kind of old and hard and windows use it more but i prefer Java it's easier and new

Uh... yea... wtf? lol
Well, he IS entitled to an opinion XD
I guess I don't even know that much about the history of c++, but it is one of the most common languages (that isn't a web langauge) and is fairly new, at least to the extent that there aren't many languages that would be considered "newer" then it (maybe VB?).
C++ is on a variety of platforms. Java is "new" because it is always being changed, updated and revised.
Anyways, correct me if I'm wrong. But hopefully most of what I say is not too far from the truth.
