|
|
Okay, from what I've heard around here, CE's debugger (I think) doesn't work with Vista because the kernelmode exploit only exists in XP.
So I decided I'm going to grab my XP CD and install it to a different partition with Norton PartitionMagic.
Unfortunately, my friend told me that he's tried installing an older OS after having Vista by default and it screwed up his BootTable.
Actually, I'm trying to start hacking on MS again. I used to on my old computer, but when I bought my new one, it came with Vista from the beginning.
So does anyone have any suggestions for me about what I can do?

I tried CE on Vista and it did not work,
1. It had a error soon as i ran the application, Then it opened.
2. Then when trying to scan, no matter what Byte scan errored saying it could not find memory.
So i would say it isn't working for CE on Vista.

| Er, could you explain, appalsap? I'm not too much of an expert in these things. I could be classified as a leecher, but I try to help people, even if I can't make trainers and stuff. lol.

that is absolutly no problem.
modulename+offset beats that
You just need to rewrite the injectdll routine to make use of the modulename as well if you intend on dll injection

when you screw up your boot table just install from the xp cd again, there is a special option to fix the boot menu, perhaps it even saves the old os link
