I'm a little confused on the task of compiling CE. Borland 7 is recommended in the FAQ, but they got bought out by Micro Focus. What application should I download to compile CE?
I've seen CodeGear Delphi around and I like the layout, will it do the job?

should work. Perhaps you may have to modify some code or it's missing some units ce uses and have to remove it. (e.g xml units may need to be rewritten)

Problem is that I'm not a Delphi programmer. I'm fluent in C#, VB.NET, C++, PHP and a whole bunch of other languages, but Delphi isn't one of them.
What IDE/compiler do you use?
