Hi, completely new to this (as in 1-2 hours) i've worked out how to change values in game.. but when i do change it the values don't actually change... for example....

I change my characters gold value to 6000 - it shows as 6000 ingame but it doesn't actually push it into the game fully.. so its just for display basically when i try to buy an item that is 6000 exactly it will just say "insufficient gold" anyone care to teach a noob how to inject codes correctly? using newest version of CE atm

game i'm trying to do it on is Mythwar.. i actually used a cheat table i found on here for mythwar :/ at first i thought it may not be working because its out of date or something or the games been patched so i searched for the gold values in the game and it came up with the same codes as the table so i guess its still the same

If it's a online game, thats normal,the server you play on knows how much gold you have and ignores whatever you tell it.
If it's a single player game, perhaps you are changing the wrong value (e.g temp value used only for displaying)

i was told you can freeze things server side like stats and such tho using CE or T-search to stop the values from decreasing like HP or Gold or Mana etc... wether its true or not i don't know.. just what i was told off people that have allegedly done it

Then it's client-sided . OR in other words, your the only one who can see it .

Cannot cheat on online massive multi player(of it is one)games.
if playing LAN or not massive(with private levels/connections)you can.

u can cheat on "massive multiplayer online games" MMORPG 2.. ppl cheat on wow, ppl cheat on OT tibia, ppl cheat on flyff ect...

but DB is right
on online games its often better to edit packets to hack

You just have to try everything you know and new things as well. Sometimes you get some crazy results, But if it works who cares !

how come when ever i go to open and put in internet explorer.exe, my game freezes and closes the browser? a virus?

explorer.exe

or iexplorer.exe

You should use iexplorer.exe

explorer.exe is your windows browser not Internet Explorer
