How do I cheat?

When i'm loading a game, CE always asks to load the associated table but uses an outdated file and i can not figure out how to delete that connection or replace it with a newer one.

check in the my cheat tables folder for a file with the same name as the process

if none is found check the current working dir

"my cheat tables" under "documents" is totally empty
I am in my own created table folder for the game:
i tried remaming the old one and load the newer, but it doesn't switch
renaming the former back, CE asks again to load this one
